For strata managers & committees

Upgrade the building, not the budget.

Solar that finally reaches every unit in the building, not just the common areas. And it costs the owners corporation nothing β€” Verdi Link funds and maintains the whole system.

For your meeting

Taking it to the committee

Most committees want three things settled before they’ll vote: what it costs, who carries the risk, and what happens if it doesn’t work out.

After a thorough assessment, we’ll prepare a proposal specific to your building.

A practical checklist for the decision

Six things worth settling before your committee votes.

  1. The site assessment findingsΒ β€” roof capacity, electrical suitability and proposed system size.
  2. The proposed ratesΒ β€” what individual lots and common areas would pay per kWh.
  3. The agreementΒ β€” term, obligations and what happens at the end of it.
  4. Evidence of insuranceΒ β€” our public liability cover during and after installation.
  5. Independent adviceΒ β€” we recommend your own legal review before signing.
  6. A resident information sessionΒ β€” so lot owners understand it before they’re asked.

For Stratas

What does it cost the owners corporation?

There’s no capital outlay. Verdi Link funds, owns and maintains the system, so owners don’t pay for the equipment or its installation, and there’s no special levy to raise.

Is it mandatory for every lot to take part?

No. Participation is optional, lot by lot β€” each resident chooses whether to use MPPS power, so there’s no need for a whole-building commitment.

What liability does the scheme carry?

Verdi Link carries public liability cover during and after installation, and remains responsible for the system it owns. We’ll provide evidence of cover with your proposal.
